Community Guidelines

Keep Ojà Aṣọ safe, respectful, and trustworthy. These guidelines apply to listings, messages, and profiles.

Authenticity & prohibited items

  • No counterfeit, replica, or trademark-infringing items.
  • No stolen goods.
  • No illegal items (including drugs or controlled substances).
  • No weapons, ammunition, or weapon accessories.
  • No adult/explicit content or services.
  • No hate content, extremist material, or violent threats.

Accurate listings

  • Photos must match the item being sold.
  • Disclose flaws clearly (stains, tears, missing pieces).
  • Price and currency should be clear.
  • No misleading titles, keywords, or fake brand claims.

Respectful communication

  • No harassment, bullying, hate speech, or threats.
  • Keep messages polite and focused on the transaction.
  • Do not share other users' personal information without consent.

Spam, scams, and platform abuse

  • No spam listings, repeated reposts, or fake inventory.
  • No phishing attempts or requests for sensitive information.
  • No links intended to scam users or redirect them to suspicious websites.
  • Do not impersonate others or create accounts to evade bans.

Reporting process

If you see a listing or behavior that violates our rules, please use the in-app report feature. Our team will review reports and may request additional details.

  • We review reports as quickly as we can.
  • We may remove listings, limit visibility, or restrict accounts.
  • We may contact you for more information.

Consequences

  • Warnings for minor/first-time issues.
  • Listing removal for policy violations.
  • Account suspension or permanent ban for serious/repeated abuse.

Appeals

If you believe a moderation decision was made in error, you can appeal by emailing hello@ojaaso.co.uk with the subject line "Appeal" and include relevant details.
