Platform model

Òjà Aṣọ provides a platform to post listings, discover items, and message. We do not own the items listed and we are not a party to any transaction between users.

Transaction details (payment, shipping, meetup) are arranged independently between buyers and sellers. Òjà Aṣọ does not process or facilitate payments and does not charge transaction fees.

Buyer responsibilities

• Review the listing carefully and ask questions before paying.
• Confirm item condition, size/fit, and authenticity to your satisfaction.
• Arrange payment, shipping, or collection directly with the seller.
• Handle disputes directly with the seller first, and report issues to us if you believe a policy violation occurred.

Seller responsibilities

• List only items you have the right to sell.
• Use accurate photos and descriptions (including flaws).
• Price items fairly and communicate clearly with buyers.
• Arrange shipping/collection and timelines directly with buyers.
• Follow local laws and shipping restrictions.

Prohibited items

You may not list or attempt to sell prohibited items, including:

• Counterfeit or replica goods, or items infringing trademarks.
• Illegal goods, drugs, or controlled substances.
• Weapons, ammunition, or weapon accessories.
• Adult content, explicit material, or sexual services.
• Stolen goods or items obtained unlawfully.
• Hate content, extremist material, or items promoting violence.
• Anything else that violates local law or our Guidelines.

Transactions, disputes, and refunds

• Buyers and sellers are responsible for agreeing payment method, price, delivery, and any return/refund terms.
• Òjà Aṣọ is not responsible for disputes, chargebacks, lost items, or damaged items in transit.
• If you believe there is fraud, harassment, or policy violation, you can report the user/listing in the app.

Shipping and collection

Shipping/collection arrangements are made directly between users. We recommend using tracked shipping and keeping proof of postage.

Listings, moderation, and removal

We may remove listings or restrict accounts that violate our Guidelines, these Terms, or applicable laws. We may also limit visibility of content while investigating reports.

Account termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for policy violations, suspicious activity, fraud, or repeated abuse. You may request account deletion at any time.

Intellectual property

You must own or have permission to use any photos, brand names, and content you post. Do not upload content that infringes others' rights.

Liability limitations

Òjà Aṣọ is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties and limit our liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. We do not guarantee that any transaction will be completed.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post an updated version here and update the effective date.
